On the Transformation of the Literary Language in the New Era

:创作的发展必须以语言的进步为前提。新时期以来 ,受创作的拉动和“语言的自觉”的启迪 ,新时期作家在语言探索方面倾注了大量心血 ,也取得了显著成绩。这个探索主要有两个方面 ,其一是在现代白话文的基础上大力开掘其潜隐的表现功能 ,其二是通过学习、借鉴文言和口语中有生命的东西 ,丰富与强化文学语言的表现力。经过众多作家的努力 ,在今天文学语言已明显与日常语言拉开了距离 ,语言的自指功能被凸显出来 。

Language change is the premise of literary development. Triggered and beckoned by the new era's writing and 'language's self consciousness', the writers obtained a lot in exploring the latent expressive function of the modern vernacular literature and enriching the expressive power of the literary language by transplanting the living part of the classic literary language and the oral. Thus, the self reliance function of literary language, diversity of linguistic methods and writing styles are easy to recognize.
