On Urban Poetry by Taiwan New Generation Poets

20世纪80年代开始,伴随着台湾现代化与都市化进程所产生的都市诗,在理论倡导与艺术实践中,渐渐成为诗歌的一支重要流脉。其中,新世代诗人的都市诗与现代主义诗歌在内在精神气质上具有同质性,是继五六十年代之后,现代主义诗歌再度复苏和兴起的产物。较之前行代现代主义诗人洛夫、商禽、林亨泰、管管、碧果、罗门等对都市的体验与传达,新世代诗人在表达现代都市人的生态和心态方面有了很大突破。

Since the 1980s,urban poetry in Taiwan,the product of modernization and urbanization,has developed into an important literary branch with unique artist features.Urban poems by Taiwan new generation poets share great similarities with modernist poems,and can be regarded as the resurrection of Taiwan modernist poetry after its flourish in the 1950s and 1960s.Compared with the pre-generation of modernist poets like Luo Fu,Shang Qin,Lin Hentai,Guan Guan,Bu Guo,Luo Men,etc.,the new generation poets have made a breakthrough in their ways of conveying the life status and mentality of the urban dwellers in Taiwan.
