综合流传于南美拉祜族民间的口承文化和相关史料,对其迁徙历史进行考辨,可以获知:如今临翔区政府所在地之"勐缅密缅"为其所开辟,其先民在此地曾处于以农耕为主的发展兴盛时期。在经历具体路线为:"今楚雄州——今大理州洱海地区——今临沧市临翔区即"牡缅密缅"——今临沧市双江县、思茅市澜沧县等地——部分迁徙至缅甸等东南亚国家"由北至南的迁徙后,南美拉祜族先民方开始出现分支和衰退的情形。

synthesizing the history material and oral culture spreading in the Nanmei Lahu nationality, we can get conclusion that the area of Linxiang District locating now were opended up by Nanmei Lahu nationality, their ancestor had the prosperity of farming at that time. The ancestor got disintegrated and recession after Linxiang---Shuangjiang and Lncang--- Southeast the migration of route Asian Countries such as by Chuxiong--Dalim Myanmar.
