Olympicism and the Chinese humanistic spirit have gone through great changes for thousands of years. They have had great influence on the development of the human history. Although they originated and developed under different cultural background, they had plenty in common in the view of achieving self- surpassing of humanity, in civilizing the masses by education and in keeping order and stability of the society. They are of significant reference for the development and trend of physical culture as well as the development of the human society.
