人的自由、和谐、全面发展是社会主义的价值追求和最终目标。社会主义本质论蕴含着"人"的解放与发展的深刻内涵。人是解放、发展生产力的主体,解放、发展生产力是人解放与发展的物质前提;消灭剥削、消除两极分化是实现人自由、平等和发展的基本前提和制度基础;实现共同富裕,是社会主义本质的要求,是社会主义的根本目的,是发展的归宿,代表了最广大人民群众的根本利益。

Human freedom, harmony and all--round development are the value pursuit and the ultimate goal of socialism. The theory of the nature of socialism contains the profound meaning of liberation and development of ＂people＂. Human being is the main body to liberate and develop productive force, while the liberation and development of the productive force is the material premise for human liberation and development; to eliminate exploitation and polarization is the basic premise, as well as the institutional basis, for the realization of human freedom, equality and development; to achieve common prosperity is the requirement of socialistic essence, the fundamental goal of socialism, and the end result of the development, representing the fundamental interests of the broadest masses of people.
