This paper describes the present situation of the coal gasification technology, in view of thehulunbeier rich lignite resource and its characteristics, to all sorts of gasification process analysis and feasibility,CWS （Coal Water Slurry）gasification process has a strong competitive advantage, its suctess must be opened up broad application prospect for the coal chemical industry which uses lignite as raw material.
