The increasing speed of computers and networks demands higher quality of cable. Can the present class 5 cable meet the future demand? Although manufacturers have already produced the cable of super-class 5, class 6 and class 7, the international standards for the cables of class 6 and class 7 haven t been announced for a long time. This paper tries to analyze the performance index and application prospect of class 6, class 7 cable only from the application demands.
