中西方宽容观差异的现实根源在于物质资料生产方式的不同,差异的精神根源在于中西方思想文化渊源的迥异。随着市场经济体制的不断完善,二者的分歧、矛盾与差异将逐渐缩小、淡化。但由于中西方经济基础、社会制度、文化背景等方面的根本区别,所以二者的差异不可能彻底泯灭,矛盾也不可能彻底消失。

In view of the reality of western tolerance difference lies in the different ways of material production, spirit is the source of differences of western thought and culture of different origins.
