The Modern Charm of Plastic Technique in Chinese Classical Painting

本文以原始时期的彩陶艺术及秦汉到明清时期的陵墓彩绘、文人绘画为例 ,寻求中国古代造型艺术与西方现代艺术的造型手法的相同之处 ,从而论证了中国古代造型艺术的现代魅力。

After the Reform Movement of 1898,the experience of travelling in Europe and America changed the thought of Kang Youwei. Great Harmony Book was written right at that time. Kang Youwei looked forward to the federal system in American and Swiss style.But he had no courage and ability to illustrate how to get to the world of Great Harmony (an ideal and perfect society).His practical purpose was still the comparatively well-off constitutional monarchy .Despite the development of revolutionary situation, Kang Youwei still sticked to reformism and even published an open letter which stated “only constitutionalism, no revolution'. Therefore, in essence,Great Harmony Book was still for constitutional royalism and against revolution.
