This paper states the status quo of students＇ cognition to campus fire safety knowledge based on literature data, questionnaire surveys and visits of experts, discusses the necessity of the teaching of fire safety knowledge to stu- dents, studies the feasibility of the teaching of fire safety knowledge in college physical education, and summarizes the val- ue of the teaching of fire safety in college physical education.
