The article firstly introduced the characteristic of MATLAB and dilated the process of verifying calculation. Then it described how to develop a graphic user interface by using MATLAB. Moreover, the interface could be used to have a verifying analysis on a water pump. The results showed that water pump of the baseline engine couldn＇ t meet the cooling requirement of new variant. It is necessary that changing transmission ration of baseline engine.
