都市休闲农业是集农业生产和生态建设于一体,承载生物技术、工程技术和信息技术,是市场化、集约化、科技化、信息化、产业化和人文化的新型农业,根据郑州市的地理特点、区域优势和经济发展现状,在郑州都市农业发展中,应该选择兼顾经济、社会和生态效益的发展方式,具体表现为园林绿地休闲区模式、沿黄观光休闲区模式、文化体验农业区模式、现代农业示范区模式、自然生态保育区模式等。
