Geological Disaster Prevention in New Countryside Construction

近几年我国地质灾害频发，造成重大人民生命和财产损失，国民经济也受到很大影响。在灾害统计和原因调查、分析中发现，城镇和农村的无规划建设和忽视、缺乏对地质灾害的认识是灾害损失重大主要原因之一。现通过实例，警示广大人民群众和建设者在灾后重建和全国新农村建设中应尊重地质科学，充分认识地质灾害特性，学会地质灾害防范，保障生命财产安全，从而巩固新农村建设成果。

In recently two years, the frequent geological disasters have caused heavy casualties and properties, and have greatly affected China＇s e-conomy. In the disaster statistics and the cause investigation, we have found that the major causes of disaster loss were towns and villages with-out planning construction, and neglect and lack of the understanding of geological hazards. Through examples this article demonstrates general public and builders for reconstruction in post-disaster and the construction of new countryside that we should respect the geological science, fully realize the geological hazards, learn to prevent geological disaster, ensure the life and property security, thus consolidate the new rural construc-tion achievements.
