Tao Zongyi was an important scholar, writer during the transition of Yuan and Ming Dynasty. It was so clearly that he wanted to catch the former worthies and carried forward and further developed the spirit of the clan of Tao in his writings. The making of great achievements in scholarship and art and his consistent alienated attitude towards Yuan and Ming＇ s regime were closely related to the influence of his family and the tradition of the clan of Tao.
