Two Different Classic Texts——Comparable Interpretation of the True Story of Ah Q and Board Town

鲁迅与沈从文是20世纪中国文学史上探索国民人性的两位大师。鲁迅从"立人"出发,通过阿Q这一艺术典型试图画出沉默国民的魂灵来,关注国人灵魂的负面。而"人性的治疗者"沈从文通过翠翠这一艺术典型,表现一种"理想的人生形式",关注民族魂的正面。阿Q的精神胜利法和"未庄"、翠翠和"湘西",不仅在现实社会生活中有原型,还与人类集体无意识中的原型意象遥相呼应。

Lu Xun and Shen Congwen are the two masters exploring the national characters in the Chinese literature history in the 20＇h century. Ln Xun was trying to demonstrate the silent national soul by creating the typical character of Ah Q from the view- point of cultivating the national personality so as to warn against the negative aspects of the national characters. However, Shen Congwen, ＂the healer of human nature＂, was trying to reveal an ideal life pattern through the portrait of Cuicui so as to promote the national spirit. More importantly, such descriptions as Ah Q＇ s moral victory and ＂Weizhuang＂, Cuicui and ＂Xiangxi＂ not only reflect the real -life Pretotypes in the social reality but correspond to the collective unconscious archetypal image as well.
