The application of transgenic plants as bioreactors to produce exogenous proteins including antibodies, vaccines and pharmaceutical proteins have many advantage sand progress. The existing problems and the new strategies about transgenic plant as bioreactors to produce pharmaceutical proteins are reviewed in the paper.
