Propanoic acid was synthesized with haloform reaction from butanone.Haloform reaction parameters were optimized by L 9(33) the orthogonal design experiment,which were molar ratio of NaC1O and butanone 45∶1,reaction time 4 h,volume of 1,4dioxane 30 ml.
