Progress in Vascular Adaptation in Athletes

摘要 虽然"运动员心脏"作为运动员的一个特定的表型特征已被广泛接受,但运动员中是否存在特征性的血管适应("运动员动脉")一直未有定论。根据2012国际体育科学、教育与运动医学大会(ICSEMIS,奥科会)的"血管对运动的反应和适应"的专题报告,综述了有关运动员动脉直径、厚度和功能的最新研究进展。依据当前的研究资料,有证据显示运动员(尤指耐力性)的动脉结构和功能发生了适应性变化,可能在某种程度上与耐力运动员心脏的改变相仿,其发生的机制可能也存在相似之处。 Although the existence of a specific phenotype characterized as "athlete's heart" is generally acknowledged,the question of whether there is athletes' exhibit characteristic vascular adaptation has not been specifically addressed.According to the symposium Vascular Responses and Adaptations to Exercise in International Convention on Science,Education and Medicine in Sport(ICSEMIS) 2012,the research reviewed the latest achievements on the diameters,wall thickness and function of arteries of athletes.Based on these academic documents,there is clear evidence to show that the arterial structure of athletes(especially those of endurance events) have shown adaptive changes.Arterial adaptation may,to some extent,emulate that evident in the hearts of endurance athletes,and it is tempting to speculate that similar mechanisms may be at play.
