Probe into University Librarians’Professional Quality Requirements and Improvement Measures

高校图书馆作为高校办学的三大支柱之一,对高校的发展起着不可或缺的重要作用。图书馆要实现这一神圣使命,提高图书馆员的职业素养势在必行。分析了高校图书馆员应该具备的职业素养,从提升馆员的思想素养、加强馆员的信息素养、建立竞争考核机制3个方面,提出了提高图书馆员职业素养的措施。

University library, being as one of the three pillars for university running, plays an important role in the development of university. In order to achieve this sacred mission, improving university librarians＇ professional quality is necessary. This paper analyzes the professional quality that the university librarians should have, and from three aspects of enhancing librarians＂ ideological quality, strengthening librarians＂ information literacy and establishing the competition and assessment mechanism, puts forward some measures for improving university librarians＇ professional quality.
