The social responsibilities of the library include the legal responsibility and moral responsibility shouldered by the library except performing its own functions. And it is considered as an open, multi-level, three-dimensional responsibility system. This paper introduces the concept of library＇s social responsibility, defines library＇s social responsibility, expounds the contents of library＇s social responsibility, and probes into the implementation mechanism of library＇ s social responsibility.
