Meta-analysis Technique and its Application in Software Engineering

摘要 从单个实验研究中很难得到可靠的实验结论,因此需要统计的方法将多个实验研究中的结果进行合并。首先,介绍将多个实验结果进行合并的统计元分析技术。然后,阐述元分析在软件工程研究中的重要意义以及当前的应用现状。最后,分析并总结其中存在的问题。 It is difficult to draw reliable results from a single experimental study.Therefore,there is a need to use a method to combine the results from multiple experimental studies.This paper introduced a meta-analysis technique for this purpose,described its application in empirical software engineering,and pointed out the problems that need to be addressed in the future.
