The Northern Shaanxi fork songs, which contain strong local characteristics and amorous feelings of sing- ers, can be translated into English to introduce the local fork culture to foreigners. This artcie mainly discusses the translation skills of the fork songs from four aspects, namely, dialect, pad word, reiterative and function word.
