Through an analysis of the main problems of Experimental Teaching of Instrumental Analy sis, combining the characteristics of the experimemal courses, a series of reform on teaching to cultivate stu dents＇ creativity and practical ability strategy is proposed： a combination of multiple teaching methods, ratio nal planning of the courses, updating the contents of experiments and establishing a new curriculum evaluation system. The reform of teaching aims at enhancing students＇ learning initiative, developing students＇ practical ability and creative abilities.
