On the Origin of Substance P in Heart Muscles an Abstract

本实验用切断家兔双侧迷走神经和损毁交感神经末梢的方法,来探求心肌中P物质的来源。结果表明:心房肌中有2/3的P物质的来源与迷走神经有关,有1/3的P物质来源与交感神经有关。心室肌中有2/3的P物质来源与交感神经有关,有1/3的P物质来源与迷走神经有关。

In our experiment the origin of Substance P is searched for in heart muscles by cutting bilaterally the vagus nerves.in the rabbit and damaging the sympathetic nerve endings.The result of the experi- ment shows that two-thirds of Substance P in atrial muscles originate from the vagus nerves while the remaining one-third arises from the sympathetic nerves.And two-thirds of Substance P in ventricu- lar muscles originate from the sympathetic nerves while the remaining one-third may probably arise from the vagus nerves.
