摘要
介绍一种新型开放式毫米波馈电系统——超导准光系统 ,该系统已成功地应用于我国的 1 3.7m口径毫米波望远镜上 ,它工作于 2 .6mm波段 ,已成功进行天文实测和天文研究工作。该系统应用了一个新型 4K低温致冷系统 ,可工作于二个频段。文中详细介绍了该系统的设计理论及研制结果。实测结果表明 ,整个系统的插损在 2 .6mm波段仅 0 .1 d B,这种损耗比起波导系统而言 ,是极其微小的。接收机的系统噪声温度在 85GHz~ 1 1 2 GHz宽带内 ,优于 87.6K。该系统至今已在青海高原使用一年时间 ,目前仍在正常工作。
A new pseudo frequency independent quasi optical feed system has been success fully developed to accommodate a new type of 4 K cooled 100GHz SIS receiver in the 13.7 meter millimeter wave radio telescope. The system introduces a new quasi optical component to be used commonly for two frequency bands. Detailed descriptions upon the very compact quasi optical system design and development are presented. Experimental results show that very little transmission loss< 0.1dB through the quasi optical system is achieved. A new SIS receiver operated at frequencies from 85 to 112 GHz measures a DSB system noise temperature as low as 87.6 K.
