无线局域网是将Internet技术和移动通信技术相结合实现“最后一公里”的重要手段之一 .本文提出了无线局域网中的四种位置管理策略 ,并就无线局域网中分布式系统分别采取有线介质和无线介质的情况 ,对四种位置管理策略加以比较 .性能分析结果表明 :针对有线分布式系统 ,策略a和d是较好的方法 ;针对无线分布式系统 ,策略d是较好的方法 .

WLAN(Wireless local area network),an integration technology of Internet and mobi le communication,is one of th e solutions to realize “the last mile”.This paper presents four kinds of locat ion management of WLAN to analyze their performance with wireless distribution s ystem and wire distribution system respectively.The results prove that strategie s a and d are suitable for wire distribution system and strategy d is the best m ethod for wireless distribution system.
