New ternary complex of L a(Ⅲ) with IBA and 1,10-phenanthroline are synthesized, and their chemical comp osition are determined by elemental analysis as:La(IBA) 3·phen. The compositio ns and structure of the complex have been investigated by IR、TG and -1H NMR techniques. Their effects on the growth of wheat seedling have been ex amined briefly.
