新建本科高校图书馆读者借阅情况统计分析——以常熟理工学院为例

Comparison and Analysis of the Borrowing Situation in Libraries of Newly built Undergraduate c Colleges and Universities: A Case Study of Changshu Institute of Technology

以新建本科高校常熟理工学院为例,统计分析2005年和2011年读者借阅和图书利用情况发现,随着读者人数和类型的变化以及阅读方式的转变,图书分类借阅次序和图书利用率与读者的学科专业及成长需求更加贴近,利用文献的方式向阅读数字图书方向转变的趋势明显加快。因此,图书馆在馆藏文献类别、数量和借阅服务等方面必须整体制定科学合理的馆藏规划,增加藏书品种,及时剔旧,及时补充,加大文献数据库建设。

Taking Changshu Institute of Technology as an example, this paper makes a statistical analysis of books lending and utilization situation over six years from 2005 to 2011. With the change of the number of readers, the type and the way of reading, the book classification lending order and book utilization are closely related to the demands of readers＇ disciplines and their growth. The trend of reading digital books to utilize literature is clearly accelerating. From the perspective of the collection category, quantity and lending services, the libraries should establish a scientific and reasonable collection rule, increase collection varieties and supplement collection in a timely manner so as to construct bibliographic databases.
