有清一代,河湟洮岷汉人多受藏传佛教影响,在民间社会,丧葬、祭祀活动中常有藏传佛教僧人的身影,藏传佛教也借助节庆、法会吸引汉族信众;汉族士人对藏传佛教或持批判态度,或示以宽容,他们的言论行止中亦可循迹藏传佛教对汉人社会的一些影响。
