In the learning society, the library acts as a part of social edncation, its social service function becomes more and more important. At the .same time, family education is facing a lot of problems which need the support of multi-party social forces. Library serves the family to meet the educa- tional needs of parents, which is the important support organization of family education. Its functions embody the space support, resources support, network support, activities support and intelligence support. The realization of library＇s support function for family education is good for the growth of children and the development of .society, which has great significance to the sustained and healthy development of family education.
