The process of producing polyester micro-POY with multi-hole-spinneret was discussed. Through selecting the proper process parameters, such as take-up speed in the range of 2 500~2 800 m/min, spinning temperature 290~305℃, quenching air speed 03~04 m/s, chip moisture content less than 30 μg/g and spinning tension 01~015 cN/dtex, the high\|quality POY yarn whose monofilament fineness and number are below 172 dtex and above 72 respectively can be obtained.
