论中国经济学的方向和方法

The Direction and Methods of Chinese Economy

一个国家在经济理论多元化的同时,要有适合本国国情的占主导地位的根本经济理论和根本经济思想,没有根本理论和根本思想的国家,充其量只能跟在别国后面走,不可能自立于世界强国之林。建设中国特色、中国风格、中国气派的经济学,是时代和实践赋予的神圣使命和责任。中国经济学的基本方向,一是要继承和发展马克思主义政治经济学的基本原理,并把这些原理与中国的具体实际相结合;二是要借鉴和吸取世界人类一切文明成果,包括西方经济学中的科学成分;三是要能够反映和解释我国生动活泼的现代化建设实践,为现代化建设提供理论支持和服务。建设和发展中国经济学要坚持以历史唯物主义和辩证唯物主义的根本方法,同时吸取现代科学的方法;要克服目前盛行的把数学的方法极端化和以数学的方法代替甚至否定历史唯物主义和辩证唯物主义根本方法的倾向。建设和发展中国经济学,要坚持为广大民众根本利益服务的出发点和立足点,要创造有利于中国经济学的繁荣发展的良好机制和环境。

A country must have a leading economic theoretical System which suits its own economy even when the theories are diverse. Establishing an economic theoretical system of China is a duty given by the age and practice. The fundamental direction of Chinese economy firstly is to inherit and develop the basic theories of Marxist political economy and combine these theories with Chinese practice, secondly is to absorb the es- sence of western economic theories, thirdly is to reflect and explain the modernization of China. To establish and develop Chinese economic theories, we have to insist historical materialism and dialectical materialism, and overcome the inclination to overuse mathe- matics. Moreover, to establish and develop Chinese economics, we must serve for the people＇s fundamental profit and create a good environment for the economics to thrive.
