钱塘名医仲昴庭的文化修养

Famous Doctor from Qiantang-Zhong Maoting's Cultural Deposits

晚清钱塘(今杭州)名医仲昴庭,文化底蕴深厚,医技精湛。光绪六年(1800年)六月,应诏为慈禧治病,当日煎服即效,慈禧褒奖。与同为慈禧诊病之名医连书樵辩论"匏""、瓠"之区别,足见其不但精熟中国传统文化,而且对一物一事的辨析细腻入微,同中求异,异中查同。又崇尚宋学,善于读书,晋京诊病,行囊携带史书随时阅读。近代国学大师章太炎,尝学医于仲昴庭,受其开悟和影响不可低估。

The famous doctor called Zhong Maoting from Qiantang（present Hangzhou）in late Qing Dynasty,had profound cultural deposits and skilled medicine.In June 1800,he was admonished to treat disease for Cixi,she was cured just at that day with decoction and she praised and honered him.Together with another famous doctor Lian Shuqiao,they discussed the difference between ＂Pao＂（lagenaria vulgaries）and ＂Hu＂（bottle gourd）,which shows they not only grasped China traditional culture,but were meticulous to discrimination of every thing,seeking difference in same,and commin in difference.They also advocated Song science,were good at learning.When they made treatment,they took historical books for reading at any time.Zhang Taiyan,the sinolog ical master in modern times,ever learned medicine from Zhong Maoting,and was influenced a lot by him which should not be underestimated.
