摘要
什么是教育,这是教育学研究中的一个核心问题。亚里士多德基于实践哲学,从三个角度论述了教育是一种"实践":从目的论的角度看,教育追求善的活动;从辨析的角度看,教育是以自身为目的的活动;从功能论的角度看,教育是使灵魂的理性功能充分发挥的活动。
The essence of education has been one of the core issues in pedagogy. Based on the foundation of practical philosophy, Aristotle managed to demonstrate from three levels that education should be viewed as practice. On the level of teleology, the process of education aims for goodness; on the level of analysis, the aim of education lies within the process itself; and on the level of function theory, during the process of education, the exertion of rationality in human soul ought to be fully achieved.
