摘要
从修辞研究的角度看,转喻研究一直限于隐喻之中;在认知研究领域内,转喻研究也长期处于弱势地位。随着认知语言学的发展,学者发现转喻的作用愈发重要,转喻甚至比隐喻的地位更为基础,因此有必要深入考察两者的区别与关联。本文从认知的视角,系统地阐释隐喻和转喻在认知结构、映现基础、认知功能、认知机制、认知理据、思维方式等各个方面的区别性和关联性,进一步揭示两者的认知本质。
Seen from the rhetoric perspective, metonymy studies have been confined to the scope of metaphor and its value has long been underestimated in cognitive studies. With the development of cognitive linguistics, researchers have discovered the growing significance of metonymy, and claimed that it has taken a more fundamental role than that of metaphor. Therefore, it is necessary to explore their differences and relevance. In the cognitive view, this study conducts a systematic analysis of the differences and relevance between metaphor and metonymy from the aspects of cognitive structure, mapping base, cognitive function, cognitive mechanism, cognitive motivation and thinking patterns in order to interpret further the cognitive nature of metaphor and metonymy.
