This paper presented a distributed Web database accessing method based on Java/CORBA, and pointed its advantage to other methods (such as DCOM). At the same time, the paper illustrated how to design and implement a tele registration module which accesses database with method based on Java/CORBA in a specific hospital information system(HIS). That includes how to partition the system, how to assign the task and then to draw the system module chart and present the program flow.
