ESP教学成败的关键取决于教师队伍,要求作为教学实践者的ESP教师不断完善自身的专业素质和实践能力,且ESP教师个体的发展是终身的,无止境的,因而,ESP教师必须通过培训、继续教育、与专业教师进行合作等各种方法探索其自身发展策略。

Whether the ESP teaching activity is successful or not depends on the facuhy team. It requires ESP teachers, practitioners in English teaching, to improve their professional quality and practical ability constantly. Moreover, the de- velopment of ESP teacher is a lifelong and infinite process. Therefore, ESP teachers should explore strategies to push themselves through training, further education and cooperation with other professional teachers.
