Textual Research on China's Grain Output in 1957

《中国共产党历史》第二卷中提出1957年中国粮食产量为3900.9亿斤,与《中国共产党的七十年》中所述3700亿斤不同,且两书都未注明出处。经过查阅相关文献,出现这两个不同的数字的原因是统计粮食产量的口径不一样,粮食产量3700亿斤中未包括大豆的产量。笼统地说1957年中国粮食产量"约为3900亿斤"或"3900亿斤左右"更为恰当,且应注明出处,给以适当的解释,以免引起不必要的误解。

The second volume of The History of Chinese Communist Party puts forward that China's grain output in 1957 was 3900.9 hundred millions Jins,which is different from 3700 hundred millions Jins stated in Chinese Communist Party's 70 Years.Furthermore,both of them haven't indicated the sources.By looking up the relevant literature,the different figures are because they don't meet the same requirement for grain output statistics,and soybean output is not included in 3700 hundred millions Jins' grain output.Generally speaking,China's grain output in 1957 should be put forward more appropriately at'about 3900 hundred millions'or'3900 hundred millions or so',and indicated the sources and given appropriate explanations in order to avoid causing unnecessary misunderstandings.
