摘要
旅游宣传资料作为实用类语篇,既具有广告文字的特点,也具有某些报道文字和游记文字的特色,有助于游客获取信息、了解景点文化。基于功能目的理论,探讨汉英翻译过程中的思维转换,提出在理解阶段对文本的意象、逻辑和句子结构进行分析;在转换阶段对意象、逻辑和句子结构进行转换重组,最后用译语表达重组后的文本,以期达到译文预期的目的或功能。
Tourist materials, a kind of practical discourse, share the linguistic features with advertisements, reports and travels, which provide information and cultural connotations for foreign visitors. Based on the skopos theory, this paper explores thought- processing during the Chinese-English translation. With a view to achieving the intended purpose or function of the translation, it is proposed, during the stage of understanding the source text, to analyze images, logic and syntactic structures concerned first, and then to shift or rearrange them before translating the restructured source text to target language.
