摘要
通过对一个通用微处理器芯片构成的大规模多微处理机并行系统PAX的结构分析 ,提出了一种利用微处理单元多个功能部件并行工作 ,进一步划分并行任务的多微任务思想 ,并给出了相应的微处理单元结构模型 .
In this paper,we research into the processing unit in a SIMD/MIMD mutiprocessor system PAX based on commercial microprocessor. And then we make a suggestion that parallel tasks can be divided into more small microtasks taking advantage of parallel work of function components in a processing unit. Finally we give a new processing unit model. For PAX's universality , this idea could be suitable in designing other parallel system .
