摘要
分析了目前卫星链路拥塞控制算法的研究现状,重点介绍了一种基于探测机制的拥塞控制算法,即通过发送低优先级且不携带有用信息的哑元来探测网络资源的可用性,改进并形成了新的拥塞控制算法。文章对该算法进行了详细分析,并运用OPNET仿真工具进行了网络仿真,在建立的网络模型中对新旧算法进行了比较。仿真结果表明,该算法能够提高卫星链路TCP连接的初始阶段以及链路出错条件下的吞吐量。
This article analyzes the recent research on TCP congestion control algorithms for satel- lite link, and introduces a congestion control algorithm based on detection mechanism. The algo- rithm uses dummy segments to probe the availability of network resources without carrying any new information for the sender, and accordingly forms new congestion control algorithms. Be- sides detailed analysis of the new algorithm, this article gives the network simulation and com- pares the algorithm with the traditional one. Simulation results show that the new algorithm can improve the throughput performance in the beginning of a new connection and in the condition of link errors as well.
