CPI(居民消费价格指数)是反映居民家庭购买生活消费品和支出服务项目费用价格变动趋势和程度的相对数。地方政府调控CPI,使之稳定在合理区间,是其义不容辞的责任。在调控CPI过程中,地方政府应抓住调控重点,综合运用经济、法律、行政、信息、舆论等手段,从生产、流通、消费等环节入手,找准着力点,保持价格总水平的基本稳定。

CPI reflects the changing trend and extents of households buying consumer goods and services.It＇s local governments＇ responsibility to regulate and control CPI to keep it on a reasonable level.During regulation and controlling,local governments should focous on key points,intergrate the use of economic,legal,adnministrative,information and media methods,and start from production,circulation and consumption links to find the focal points,therefore to keep the general level of price basically stable.
