摘要
沃尔特·惠特曼是美国的民族诗人,《草叶集》为其赢得了世界声誉。诗集中的"我自己的歌"体现出众多的哲学思想,却有一以贯之的"自然学说",向我们指明了通达存在真理之路。通过物质和能量的研究,我们可以证明观察可见世界即可认识存在真理,肉体和灵魂的结合则是通达存在真理的另一条路径。
Walt Whitman is a national poet in America, whose Leaves of Grass won him international fame. There are many different thought systems in Song of Myself. However, it is the theory of na- ture that is embodied in it constantly. This theory indicates the truth of being, which can be shown by direct observation of visible world. This process can be proved by the assumption of matter and energy. The union of body and soul can also show us the truth of being.
