Based on the study reviews and developmental dyslexia in recent years, it discusses researches on rapid naming and Chinese and analyzes reasons why rapid naming can predict children's reading ability: phonological ability, orthographical ability and arbitrary graphy to phonology conversion (GPC). Though there are few researches concerning the arbitrary GPC, it for researches in this field in the future.
