Design and Implementation of a Servlet-Based Web Database Interface System

通过对多种技术方案的分析和比较 ,选择了 Servlet+JDBC作为系统的技术方案 ;通过对大量 Web应用的分析和归类 ,设计了相应访问接口 .实现了一个访问 Web数据库的通用接口系统 WDIS.它可以为多个应用共享 ,使大量访问 Web数据库的应用只需进行客户端界面的编程 ,就可实现复杂的 Web数据库访问 .Servlet机制很好地满足了对于中间层可扩展性、易管理性、高可用性和安全性的要求 ,适合于构造 Web数据库访问接口 .

By analyzing and comparing many kinds of relevant approaches the solution of Servlet and JDBC is addopted as the technical scheme for the design and implementation of a Web database interfacing system. By analyzing and classifying a large amount of Web applications, the corresponding interface are designed. An interfacing system, WDIS, is realized to access the Web database and can be shared among applications. This enables developers to implement complex Web database access by focusing merely on the client side user interface. The Servlet based system meets the requirement of expansibility, manageability, usability and security, and fits well for constituting Web database interfaces.
