摘要
EVA作为一种新兴的企业绩效衡量指标,其优越性在于强调对全部资本成本的计量,要求企业管理者无论是运用债务资本还是权益资本都要充分考虑其资本成本。它的核心理念是:资本获得的收益至少要能补偿投资者承担的风险和全部成本。应用EVA能够建立有效的激励报酬系统,这种系统通过将管理者的报酬与从增加股东财富的角度衡量企业业绩的EVA指标相挂钩,正确引导管理者的努力方向,促使管理者充分关注企业的资本增值和长期经济效益。
Economic Value Added (EVA), an emerging business performance assessment index, stresses on the count of total capital cost, both debt capital and equity capital. The core idea of this appraisal index is that the profit gained from the capital invested must at least compensate for the risks taken by investors and for the entire cost. By using EVA, an effective incentive payment system could be set up, which will orient managers' effort and make them pay close attention to the enterprises' capital appreciation and long-term economic bene- fit through relating the managers' payment with EVA that evaluates the performance of a company in terms of the increase of shareholders' wealth.
