摘要
子宫动脉栓塞术通过选择合适的栓塞剂,栓塞双侧子宫动脉从而阻断子宫肌瘤血供,使子宫肌瘤体积逐渐缩小,临床症状缓解,达到治疗的目的。近二十年来已经在世界各地广泛应用,它能保留患者子宫,改善生活质量,副作用小,是一种成熟的技术。虽然在对卵巢功能和生育方面的影响尚不完全确定,但手术能够保留子宫,提高患者自我性别认同,在选择合适适应证的情况下可以替代子宫切除术。
Uterine artery embolization （UAE） is a technique to treat uterine leiomyoma. The method can reduce uterine fibroid volume and ease clinical symptoms by choking off the blood of uterine fibroids. In the past two decades, it has been widely used around the world. It can retain the uterus and improve the quality of life. Even though the impact of ovarian function and fertility is not yet fully evaluated, UAE is emerging as an effective alternative method to hysterectomy and myomectomy in women with fibroids.
