高等学校的专业结构是否合理,不仅关系到学校的教育质量和办学效益,还会对经济建设和社会发展产生一定影响。高等学校作为人力资本的主要生产者和供给者,要为地区经济发展服务,必须结合产业发展和区域经济的需求,加强人才需求分析和理论研究,培育特色专业和重点学科,改造现有专业,探索新兴学科、交叉学科专业建设,建立有效机制,实现专业结构与辽宁产业需求的对接。

Whether specialty structure of colleges and universities is reasonable not only involves their educational quality and operational benefit, but also produces a great impact on the local economic construction and social development. Both the current readjustments of industrial structure and regional economic structure carried out in Liaoning province and the development of industrial clusters have made the specialty structure of the provincial colleges and universities confronted with new challenges and currently they have to try to meet new requirements made by economy and society. As main producers and suppliers of human capital, the colleges and universities in Liaoning province should serve the local economic development by strengthening the analysis of talent demand and the related theoretical research, nurturing characteristic specialties and key disciplines, transforming the existing specialties, sticking to comprehensive development, and exploring new disciplines and overlapping disciplines, in hope of realizing the link-up of the specialty structure of the Liaoning colleges and universities with the industrial demand of the province.
