格林德伯恩的每一个《费加罗的婚姻》新制作都会成为歌剧节的头等大事,从1934年格林德伯恩歌剧节创办以来,这已是《费加罗的婚姻》的第九个新制作了。也许是博马舍（Beaumarchais）《狂热之日》（La Folle Journee,《费加罗的婚姻》别称）的精髓在盛夏之季渗入了萨克塞斯郡,又或许是卡尔·爱伯特（Carl Ebert）与弗里茨·布施（Fritz Busch）执导的首演班子——饰演苏珊娜的奥黛丽-米尔德梅（Audrey Mildmay）,饰演伯爵夫人的奥利基·劳塔瓦拉（AulikkiRautawaara）,

Every new production of Le nozze di Figaro at Glyndebourne is a special event and this production is the ninth since 1934,with the director Michael Grandage,designer Christopher Oram and conductor, Glyndebourne's music director-designate,Robin Ticciati at the helm of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.A big first night,also the big night of the 2012 season,rode on several pairs of young shoulders, like Lydia Teuscher(Susanna),Isabel Leonard(Cherubino),Sally Matthews(the Countess) and Vito Priante(Figaro).
