港口城市的集体记忆“码头遗产”--以上海为例

Study on Collective Memories in Port Cities:A Case Study of Shanghai

拯救普遍存在于保护名录之外的富有集体记忆的历史性场所有助于维系城市文化的认同感与归属感。本文对国内外码头遗产相关研究进行了综述,指出了码头遗产是港口城市集体记忆中不可或缺的部分,也是当前文化遗产保护中的新现象。论文以上海为例,从遗产本体与语义两个方面阐述了黄浦江沿岸的近代码头遗产的要素与价值。论文指出,这些记忆场所不仅是上海现代化、城市化进程的缩影,也是海派文化与都市生活图景的独特语言,建议从建筑遗存、历史场地、设施道具与图像资料等方面进行保护与活化。

The author reviews the literature of port heritage and points out that the port heritage is a vital part of urban collective memories in port cities. As one of places rich in collective memories, it now becomes a new object of study in the campaign for preservation of cultural heritage. Taking the case study of Shanghai, the author elaborates the elements and their value of modern port heritages along Huangpu River from its ontology and semantic aspects. The author argues that those port heritages are full of collective memories, which are not only the epitome of the urbanization process but also the unique language of Shanghai regional culture. Therefore, they should be preserved, adapted and reused during the waterfront redevelopment. The protection and activation works could be carried out from the aspects of building remains, historical scenes and image materials.
